Hard bowls, carbone steel. Request cleaning materials (oil, grease, on a chiffon).
Temper of steel could give a great hardness. Hard steel is advantaged because a hard bowls have a great longevity on all grounds.

Bleue 140 is particularly used by the points. Blue "natural" reflections of bleue 140 are intensify by a blue patent of protection, which wear away with use.
Bleue 140 is the pattern who gave the name of La Boule Bleue.
